2024 WINTER THROWDOWN
We have decided to postpone the 2023 Winter Throwdown and take a much deserved rest. Lets get the blood pumping and get ready for 2024! The Winter Throwdown will stage at the Lake Hodges Boat Ramp. Just like the Summer Series it will have all the same categories and fun trails, as well as a Kids Race that will go off 1 hour before the main race so that the parents can be part of their kids racing experience.

REGISTRATION:
- Online registration closes at 6:00pm the day before the race.
- Onsite registration will close 20 minutes prior to race start. Please arrive with enough time to register.

- Course – Expert: 5.58mi – 479ft per lap / Other Categories: 4.71mi – 264ft per lap

Event Cancellation and COVID
If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, Quick n’ Dirty will do everything in our power to reschedule the event, and in such cases will transfer the participants entry to the rescheduled date. If the event cannot be rescheduled, the financial responsibility will be accepted by the registrant.
If the event is cancelled due to COVID restrictions, Quick n’ Dirty will offer refunds on a prorated schedule, or we will automatically transfer your entry to the rescheduled date, or offer a credit towards another Quick n’ Dirty event.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of event planning and upfront costs, all Quick n’ Dirty events have a strict NO REFUND policy as agreed upon during the registration process. However, we do understand that there may be life events that can preclude you from attending the event. In cases of COVID diagnosis, injury or illness, unscheduled military deployment, or death of an immediate family member a refund will be considered. All instances require proof and are granted at the discretion of the event promoter/director.

WINTER THROWDOWN KIDS RACE
KIDS RACE GENERAL INFORMATION:
There will be a kids race prior to to the main race, so please arrive with enough time to get your kid registered and ready for the race. Registration for the kids race will be available Online and Onsite. The kids course will be approximately 1-1.5 miles on fairly neutral terrain so bring the kids out and let them experience MTB racing. Awards will be given out immediately following the race.
All kids classes are for kids 11 years old and younger.
NO PUSH BIKES OR TRAINING WHEELS ON KIDS COURSE AND ADULT SUPERVISION IS MANDATORY. We will have seasoned riders that will ride along with, and guide the kids through the course. We encourage the parents to ride along with their kids to help the kids get the most out of their mountain bike race experience.
KIDS CLASSES:
- KIDS BEGINNER BOY/GIRL: 1 year or less racing/riding on the dirt. (This is for kids just starting out, dirt skills and stamina in development)
- KIDS SPORT BOY/GIRL: 1 to 2 years of racing/riding dirt. (This is for kids good on dirt but need work on stamina)
- KIDS EXPERT BOY/GIRL: 2+ years of racing/riding dirt. (This is for kids good on dirt, good on stamina but not quite ready for School Boy/Girl)
